OVERVIEW
We are ecstatic to hold our 2023 election for the USA Roundnet (USAR) board of directors. There is (1) seat up for election for a two-year term (through end of 2025). Our board members are crucial to the operation of our organization, overseeing ongoing intiatives and projects while collaborating to ensure the best possible future for roundnet in the USA. If you’re ready to play your part in building our sport, take a look at the information below and declare your candidacy by November 30, 2023.

Board Members serve a critical role participating in strategic planning and supporting the execution of USAR initiatives across its range of committees. Additionally, Board Members coordinate with the IRF on international roundnet efforts. Above all, Board Members assume a fiduciary responsibility for the organization in its sustainability and long-term success.
Generally, this includes participating in recurring meetings, working independently, and contributing volunteer time on a weekly basis. -
If you are a United States permanent resident with an annual USAR membership purchased before November 1, 2023, then yes! You are eligible.

Once the candidacy declaration window closes, everyone who declared their candidacy will have their platform published.
Two weeks after platforms are published, the ballot will open and all USAR members will be encouraged to vote.

In general, board members are expected to serve two-year terms.
One elected member of the board will have their term up at the end of 2023, and the rest of the board will have their terms end at the end of 2024. This is to stagger elections by year and to maintain continuity within the organization. Therefore, the candidate who first reaches the benchmark number of votes in this election will serve a two-year term.

Yes. There are no term limits for re-election.

Only active annual USAR members may vote. To receive a ballot, members must have purchased their membership before November 1, 2023

Ballots will be cast and counted in a ranked-choice voting format.
